ASSOLEADER, the Association of Local Action Groups (GAL), born for the implementation of Community Initiative Leader (Liaison Entre Actions de Developpement de l’Economie Rurale). This initiative was launched in 1991 by the European Community to assist the development of disadvantaged rural areas through a “bottom”, exploiting the endogenous forces of local realities.
