FoodInItaly, is a new project developed by ItaliaOnLine that networks all the excellences of Italian food, with the aim of becoming an important international showcase, as well as the point of reference digital, to support of thousands of workers and protection consortia, which make up the chains of certified products.

The platform is made with the collaboration of scientific and editorial Qualivita Foundation, an organization that thirteen years protects and enhances the quality agri Italian – and collects all 271 products Italian food quality certification (PDO, PGI, TSG), the 523 Italian wine names, divided between PDO and IGP (DOCG, DOC and IGT) and more than 4,500 traditional food products. From the history of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI to the success of Parmigiano-Reggiano and Grana Padano DOP up to the jewels of the high Italian delicatessen, as the
Prosciutto San Daniele DOP or Mozzarella di Bufala DOP, FoodInItaly tells stories with culinary excellence, images and video, to allow anyone, from anywhere in the world, to discover the best of the italian food system.
The internationality is indeed one of the keys FoodInItaly: the site is now also available in English and will be subsequently translated into Chinese, Russian and Spanish. Furthermore, using the flywheel offered by Expo 2015, FoodInItaly represents a “virtual window” through which more than 10,000 local producers can have an extraordinarybusiness opportunities in a strategic sector for our country, and even more in the spotlight during the months of Expo.
